Traditional Korean Dance Theatre
Ggotshin (flower-embroidered shoes) is an adaptation that gives a modern take on the Korean traditional folk tale Kongji Patzzi to portray a woman’s life. It is interesting and inspiring due to its well-organized structure and story, and its delicate choreography that harmonizes with its cheerful rhythms. Ggotshin is a dance drama on contradictory human attributes; vice and virtue, love and hate, beauty and ugliness, and nobility and meanness. Ggotshin is like the Korean version of Cinderella.
